Edward James Olmos to appear at El Paso’s Plaza Classic Film Festival

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Plaza Classic Film Festival has booked Edward James Olmos. The legendary actor will appear at the 16th annual festival, July 20-30 at the Plaza Theatre.

The festival will screen two of Olmos' films, Stand and Deliver and The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez.

You can view Stand and Deliver Friday, July 28 at 7 p.m. and The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez Saturday, July 29, and 1 p.m.

Olmos has been nominated for a Tony, Emmy, and Academy Award.
