60% of El Pasoans fully vaccinated; 1 new virus death reported
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Department of Public Health announced one new coronavirus-related death and 13 new cases Wednesday.
With the latest death of a man in his 90s, El Paso County's pandemic death toll increased to 2,627.
There are also 12 additional suspected Covid-19 deaths currently being investigated by the health department.
El Paso health department data shows that 60.1% of El Pasoans 12 and older are now fully vaccinated, with 72.9% having received at least one dose.
The number of known active virus cases now stands at 394.
There are 39 Covid-19 patients in El Paso hospitals, with 17 of those patients in intensive care units.
