Learn to make some delicious Cinco De Mayo Cocktails!

Cinco De Mayo is here and we are celebrating by learning how to make some delicious "Cinco De Mayo" themed cocktails from bartender Jon Davidson, a renowned mixologist from Portland, Oregon.

GUAC YOUR SOCKS OFF

  • 1.5 oz 1800 Verdano Cucumber Tequila
  • 1.5 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 jalapeño, seeds removed
  • 1.5 oz simple syrup
  • Half avocado
  • Dash Jada Lime Chicken Salt
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Blend all ingredients. Serve in a coupe glass. Garnish with a jalapeño slice and a tortilla chip.

EL VAQUERO

  • 1 oz Pelotón de la Muerte Mezcal Joven
  • 1 oz Som Tamarind Cane Vinegar Cordial
  • 5 oz Sesión Cerveza Mexican Lager
  • 1 oz 100% lime juice
  • Build and serve neat in a beer stein. Garnish with a Tajin Habanero rim and a tamarind pod.

GINGKO DE MAYO

  • 1.5 oz Pilot House Diablo Azul Añejo Agave Spirit
  • .125 oz Butterfly Durian Flavoring
  • 1 oz agave syrup
  • .125 oz Herb Pharm Whole Leaf Gingko Extract
  • 1.25 oz 100% lime juice
  • Splash soda
  • Build, shake and strain into a bucket glass over a large rock. Garnish with a lime wheel.
