‘The Weird Kidz,’ animated film made in El Paso gets free special screening

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Weird Kidz, a full-length animated feature film will get a special screening at the Plaza Theatre on Thursday night.

The coming-of-age film made by El Pasoan Zach Passero is based on memories, adventures, and influences from his time in the Borderland.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and film starts at 7 p.m., followed by a Q and A with the cast and crew.
