EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Museum of Art and Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez want artists to submit entries for their 8th Border Biennial exhibition. Artists can submit applications until May 1 at 11:59 p.m.

The City of El Paso said applicants must live and work within a 300-mile radius of El Paso and Juárez. After applications close, 30 artists will be selected to present one work at each museum. Additional artists may be selected through loans and participation in programming, according to the city.

EPMA Art Director Edward Hayes Jr. said this year's theme, "Imagining the Border," will "give form to new voices and reflections that address our times."

Artists can apply through the link here. Guidelines can be found here.

The exhibit opens Sept. 4, 2026 at the EPMA. The Juárez exhibit opens Sept. 5.
