Woman Wanted On Sexual Molestation Charges

EL PASO, TX — Authorities have charged an elementary school teacher with molesting a 14-year old boy, but no arrest had been made as of Saturdayevening.

Investigators tell ABC 7 the teacher, Donna McKnight, 53,works atVista Hills Elementary School, in the Ysleta Independent School District.

Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office detectives are handling the case because the molestation allegedly happened in Chaparral, NM, at the home of McKnight’s mother-in-law.

The victim was reportedly doing work at the home onAug. 7, when McKnight askedhim if he “wanted to make some extra money.”

The boy was reportedly asked to rub suntan lotion on McKnight, whohaddisrobed. She allegedly askedhim to touch her inappropriately and he complied, sheriff’s records show.

The two also allegedly kissed, and the woman also allegedly made a sexual play for the boy, but he refused.

The suspect’s husband, Ronald McKnight, is facing bribery charges for allegedly telling the boy “if you makemy wife happy, we’ll allowyou to driveour jeep.”

There was reportedly a secondsexual overture made, and the young victim refused again. The couple then reportedly paid the boy $35.

The teen reportedly told his mother of the incident, who in turn filed a complaintwith police. According to court documents, Ronald McKnight called the boy’s mother and lefta message, saying he would pay two years of collegeexpenses for the boy, and offer him anew four-wheeler recreational vehicle in exchange for dropping the complaint.

Dona Ana County authorities said the investigation will continue, and they areencouraging the McKnights to turnthemselves in.
