LC Woman Indicted, Allegedly Stole $42k From Medical Office
LAS CRUCES, NM. -A Dona Ana County grand jury indictsa woman from the City of the Crosses on 150 counts of embezzlement.
The charges accuse Lisa Saenz of embezzling approximately $42,000 from the Ben Archer Medical Clinic in Hatch. Investigatorstell ABC-7 that Ms.Saenz worked as the office manager for the clinic.
Ms. Saenzreportedly implemented a policy which required patients to pay cash for certain services. Clerks then allegedly gave the cash directly to Ms Saenz.
Saenzfaces more than 160 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
