Children’s Miracle Network Fact Sheet

Children’s Miracle Network-the alliance of premier hospitals for children-is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America. Each year the 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research, and preventive education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.

The need is truly great. This year alone Children’s Miracle Network hospitals will provide charity care worth billions, yet these children’s hospitals depend on community support to help fund their vital services.

The El Paso Children’s Miracle Network has been located at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-El Paso since 1996. The network provides two invaluable services. The first one is the Always Kids Miracle Hotline, 532KIDS or toll-free 1-877-532-KIDS (available to children, birth to 21 years of age). This 24-hour, 7 -day-a-week free hotline is available to answer the simplest to the most complex medical/social/behavioral questions, along with referrals for emergency services. All calls are strictly confidential and services are available in English and Spanish.

The second service is the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile (available to children, birth to 18 years of age). It is the most versatile “pediatric home-on-wheels” that serves the El Paso community living in the Socorro Independent School District. From vaccinations to health screenings, this “medical marvel” practically does it all!

All proceeds benefit the Children’s Miracle Network in the EI Paso community, where the monies raised stay to help our children and their families. As you can see, the Children’s Miracle Network offers ongoing essential healthcare programs to children and their families in our local area.
