EPPD Investigate Robbery At Central EP Credit Union

EL PASO, Tx. – Police are investigating amid-afternoon ‘incident’ that turned out to be a robberyat a central city credit union.

Emergency radio trafficindicatedthe occuredrobbery just after 12:30 Monday afternoon at the El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union at 909 West Myrtle in central El Paso.

EPPD officers arrived on the scene and began a ringing the area in red police tape.

Police say the suspect is a hispanic mail 5′ 6” wearing a mask blue jeans, navy blue long sleeved t-shirt. Witnesses tell EPPD officials that the suspect escaped out the back andfled on foot.

Officials add that the suspect got away with an andisclosed amount of cash.
