Two Weather-Related Accidents Reported
EL PASO, TX – Multiple weather-related crashes were reported on roadways stretching from the Northwest to the East Side.
A tractor-trailer lost control on the interstate near the Westway exit outside Anthony. The trailer flipped over and some of its cargo, consisting mostly of metal sheets,spilled ontothe road. No serious injuries were reported as a result of the crash and traffic seemed to flow fairly smooth through the area.
Further down the road, a van rolled over near the Sunland Park exit. Tracks from the vehicle’s tires reveal the van skidded through the center median before rolling over on the opposite side of the road.
Emergency crews closed down several lanestraffic lanesin each direction. It is still not clear how many people were inside the van and what the extent of their injuries, if any, were.
