Police Arrest Woman Who Allegedly Murdered Husband

EL PASO, TX – Police have arrested the woman who allegedly stabbed andkilled her husbandSunday.

Police arrested 27-year-old Elizabeth Munoz and charged her with murdering her husband, 24-year-old Francisco Arceo. She is being held in the county jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Police officials tell ABC-7 they responded to a call early Sunday morning to the residence at 165 N. Clark and found Arceo had been stabbed. The couple had been fighting at the home before Munoz stabbed Arceo, police say.

Arceo was taken to Thomason Hospital where he died several hours later.

Neighborsof the couple, who did not want to be identified, tell ABC-7 the couple was always fighting. “They never gotalong peacefully and were always arguing…she was always shouting,” said one neighbor.

The fatal stabbing of Arceo was the city’s twelve murder of the year compared to nine at the same time last year.
