LC Man Arrested For Alleged Sexual Relation With Minor
LAS CRUCES, N.M. -Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s deputieshave arrested a man for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl.
Police say they arrested 28-year-old Rico Dominic Escudero on Wednesday, September 12, after they learned of a sexual relationship that had begun in June while the girl’s motherwas living with him at his home on the 1300 block of Brownlee in Las Cruces.
Investigators say Escudero promised the young girl gifts including a trip to Disneyland if she didn’t report the relationship. Escudero is charged with one count of second-degree criminal sexual contact of a minor and two counts of first-degree criminal sexual penetration of a minor.
