Teen Killed In Northeast El Paso Rollover Wreck

EL PASO, TX. -According to El Paso Police, one brother may be charged for the rollover crash that killed his younger brother this weekend.

14-year-old Andrew Springer died on Saturday when the Lexus sedan he was a passenger in drove off the road in Northeast El Paso. The car came to rest on its top at Fred Wilson and Alabama.

Two of Springer’s brothers, a 16-year-old and a 12-year-old climbed out of the car with minor injuries. They were taken to William Beaumont Army Medical center for treatment. Police investigators report the 16-year-old was driving and speeding; none of the boys was wearing a seatbelt.

A vigil for Andrew Springer willbe held at7 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption on Byron Street near William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
