10 people were evacuated after fire breaks out at their apartment complex overnight. It all started just after 1a.m. on the 6700 block of Alameda. When crews arrived on the scene, they reported seeing heavy black smoke and flames.

They quickly evacuated 10 people living nearby. Officials say at least one apartment unit was engulfed in flames, and six others were damaged by smoke. The cause of the fire is under investigation and the only thing officials know for sure at this point is in which apartment unit the fire started.
