Program Starts To ‘Share The Warmth’

EL PASO, TX. — The El Paso Police Department is joining hands with the Braden Aboud Memorial Foundation to collect blankets for El Paso’s needy.

Thefoundation,established in the memory of an El Paso teenager who died in a skiing accident, askedpolice to participate in the their first blanket drive.

Peoplewishing to donate new, unusedblankets may bring them to police headquarters at 911 N. Raynor or to any of the five police regional command centers throughout the city.

Blankets will also betaken from the public at the following schools from Oct. 18 through Nov. 21:

Coronado High School Franklin High School Zach White Elementary Mitzi Bond Elementary Lincoln Middle School
