LCPS Schedules Public Forum On Proposed High School
EL PASO, TX — More than 10 years havepassedsince theLas Cruces Public School districtadded a new high school to its jurisdiction.
District officials have said they’re looking to add a new campus and they’re seeking the pulblic input as to where it would should be built to best serve the community’s needs.
Some of the factors in selecting a location include the size of the property, cost of land and growth areas of the community, district officials said.
The first of two public meetings will be held Monday at 6 p.m.at the district’s administration building, 505 S. Main street in Las Cruces.
“The board of education is expected to make a final decision nextmonth,” superintendent Stan Rounds said.
