SILVER ALERT: El Paso Police Search For Missing Man
EL PASO — The search for a missing man with who suffered from Alzheimer’s and dementia ended after he was found safe in Juarez.
Ramon Rodriguez-Rubio, 81, was handed over to EPPD officers by Juarez officials at the Paso del Norte Bridge shortly before 4 am Monday.
Rodirguez-Rubio resides in the residence located at the 8600 block of Joaquin. He has since been reunited with his family, officials said.
Investigators said Rubio was sitting in front of his homewhen a family member responsible for his care momentarily left him alone to check on food that was being cooked.
When the relative went back to check on Rubio, he was gone, investigators said.
