Frisco Teacher On Leave After Student Gets Tattoo

FRISCO, Texas (AP) – A teacher in a Dallas-area school district is on paid administrative leave after she allegedly helped a 17-year-old male student get a tattoo.

Frisco school officials say 33-year-old math teacher Brandy Jumper has taught in the district for seven years.

State health officials are reviewing whether the person who did the tattoo, at a house in Little Elm, is licensed and used proper sanitary conditions.

The boy’s mother claims the teacher went with the teen to get the tattoo on his back.

Jumper couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
