NMSU Memo Details Apology In E-Mail Uproar
LAS CRUCES, N,M. (AP) – An associate dean at New Mexico State University who was accused of e-mailing pornography to others at the school has apologized.
The Las Cruces Sun-News reports that Larry Olsen issued the apology in a March 31st confidential memo.
The newspaper reports Olsen acknowledges sending — in his words — “a bad attempt at humor.”
Two e-mails from 2007 and 2008 from Olsen’s administrative e-mail address, which were provided to the media, show explicit pictures of male and female nudity.
