Extreme Weather Task Force Needs More Blankets
EL PASO — The Extreme Weather Task Force is requesting more donations of blankets from the public. The task force is short about 100 blankets, city officials said.
The task force has collected 2,300 new blankets and all of them have been given away.
The blankets will be given to low-income families. More donations are needed quickly as the weather turns colder.
According to the National Weather Service, El Paso may see low temperatures in the 20s during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The task force will alsoaccept cash donations.
New blankets can be dropped off at the following locations:
