Main Post Office Will Take Last-Minute Tax Returns Until Midnight
EL PASO, Texas — The Main U.S. Post Office willtake tax returns from last-minutefilers until midnight tonight.
The post office at 8401 Boeing Drive will close at 7:30 p.m. However, tax return filers can place their return in any of the mailboxes outside and inside the post office and postal workers will pick up mail in them until midnight to make sure they are postmarked by midnight on April 15.
Other U.S. post offices in El Paso will close atregular timesandwill notpostmark returns with the April 15 date if they are dropped off after regular pick-up times.
