15-Year-Old Arrested In Montana Vista Arson
MONTANA VISTA, Texas — A 15-year-old was arrested for arson after a wooden shed and fence went up in flames in Montana Vista on Saturday.
El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the fire in the 3700 block of Gerard about 3:40 p.m. Saturday, sheriff’s officials said.
A witness reported that several teenagers were seen running from the property after the shed caught fire.
Deputies detained four teenagers at a house in the 13500 block of Flora, about a half-mile away from the property. Investigators interviewed the teenagers and determined that a 15-year-old male was the main suspect responsible for the fire, sheriff’s officials said.
His identity was not released due to his age.
