Overheated Motor Causes Smell Of Smoke At Thomason

EL PASO, Texas — An overheated electrical motor caused a smell of smoke on the first floor of Thomason Hospital about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

Nine units with the El Paso Fire Department responded and quickly located the source of the smoke. Hospital staff resumed normal operations at 11 a.m. No evacuation was necessary and no one was injured.
