Former NCED CEO Bob Jones Will Plead Guilty To Fraud Charges

EL PASO, Texas — El Paso businessman Bob Jones is ready to plead guilty for his alleged role in the ongoing public corruption investigation.

Court documentsobtained by the I-Team confirm Jones plans to plead guilty tocharges in connection with the public corruption investigation. Jones faces 38 charges, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to commit fraud and bribery.

Jones is the former president of the National Center for the Employment of the Disabled (NCED).

Investigators said he and two associates stole millions of dollars from government and their own nonprofit company.

Jones’s case was moved Wednesday to Judge Frank Montalvo’s court. Montalvo has already accepted several guilty pleas in connection to the public corruption investigation.
