XHIJ: Armed Men Allegedly Set Juarez Bar On Fire
JUAREZ — A group of armed men allegedly set a downtown Juarez bar on fire Monday afternoon, according to XHIJ (Channel 44), ABC-7’s news partners in Juarez.
About 2 p.m., the men allegedly walked into the Viejo Oeste bar at Jose Borunda and Uruguay streets, threw gasoline on the floor, and ignited the flammable liquid, according to Channel 44. The blaze caused major damage to the bar. No one was injured.
Thick black smoke could be seen for miles before firefighters put the blaze under control.
Three fire units responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
