The Sun Bowl Stadium is on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Seating capacity: 50,429
The Shuster Avenue/University of Texas at El Paso (Exit 18A) exit from Interstate 10 is the closest to the stadium. Expect traffic congestion as game time approaches.
• Driving from the airport, go south on Airway Boulevard to I-10.
• From Airway Boulevard or other eastside locations, enter I-10 West
• Exit Schuster Avenue/University of Texas at El Paso (Exit 18A).
• You may also exit at Mesa Street (Exit 19A) or Downtown (Exit 19B) and turn right on Mesa Street, and then left on University Avenue or Sun Bowl Drive to reach the Stadium.
• If you’re familiar with the area, you may find that the Porfirio Diaz (Exit 18B) or Executive Center Blvd. (Exit 16) are less congested.
• Take I-10East and exit at Schuster Avenue/University of Texas at El Paso (Exit 18A).
• Or take I-10 East to Executive Center (Exit 16). Turn left on Executive Center Boulevard. Turn right on Mesa Street. Turn right onto Sun Bowl Drive or University Avenue.
