Local Blackout Lifted For Sun Bowl

El Paso, Texas -CBS and the Brut Sun Bowl have liftedthe local blackout of the bowl game in the El Paso area.

The 76th annual Brut Sun Bowl will be broadcast at noon Thursday on KDBC-TV Channel 4 (Cable Channel 3).

“We are excited that with the sellout that the Brut Sun Bowl and CBS have lifted the local blackout and allowed the rest of the region to see the Brut Sun Bowl,”Jimmy Rogers, Jr., chair emeritus and CBS liaison of the Sun Bowl Association said in a news release.”This truly has become a special year for the Brut Sun Bowl.”

The Sun Bowl and CBS havethe longest running relationship between a bowl game and a television network.

The affiliation between the Sun Bowl andthe networkis second only to The Masters in terms for consecutive years being broadcast on one network, according to the Sun Bowl.
