EL PASO — Police say the driver who allegedly walked away from the scene of a Saturday-morning rollover was arrested hours after the wreck.

Police charged Gricelda Aydde Prado, 18, of the 900 block of Zaragoza, with two counts of Accident Involving Personal Injury or Death.

Traffic investigators say Prado was the driver of a GMC Sierra that rolled over after striking a Mitsubishi Eclipse near the intersection of Bob Mitchell and Saul Kleinfield. Prado was reportedly trying to turn left off Saul Kleinfield when she struck the car just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

When police arrived at the scene, Prado had allegedly left the scene of the accident, according to police officials. They said one of the persons inside the Eclipse sustained abroken ankle, a broken rib, and otherinjuries. Another man inside the car sustained two broken femurs and other injuries, officials added.

Pradowas booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility Saturday afternoon on a bond of $1,500. Jail records indicate she has since bonded out.
