Man’s Car Stolen While It’s Being Warmed Up At Bar

El Paso, Texas – A man was arrested late Sundaymorning after he allegedly stole atruck that was being warmed up in the parking lot of a Downtown bar.

Nazaret Rubalcava, 21, of the 3200 block of Rivera, allegedly took atruck that the owner of the Whatever Lounge was warming up. Rubalcava then began to drive off in the vehicle as the owner watched.The owner of the vehicle opened the driver’s side door in an attempt to stop Aruba from taking his vehicle.

Rubalcava put the truck in park and got out of the vehicle after it hit another vehicle in the parking lot. He fled the scene, according to police officials.

He was arrested not a short time later in the area. Rubalcava was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail on charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and a bond of $1,500.
