Standoff Forces Neighbors Out Of Homes
EL PASO – Police have blocked off several neighborhoods in Central El Paso after a man barricaded himself inside his home on the 2600 block of Silver.
El Paso Police tell ABC-7 the man, who is in his 30s, threatened a family member with a weapon then refused to come out of the home when police arrived. He was in the home by himself, according to police.
As a precaution, several families were evacuated from the neighborhood.
