WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM YOUR OPPONENT? Dedication and passion to public service — I bring 24-1/2 years of skills and experience in governmental affairs. The last 10 years as a proven administrator with the County Tax Assessor-Collector.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE THAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THE POSITION YOU SEEK: My thorough understanding and knowledge of county government which involves budget preparation, procurement including writing specifications and contract management, management of over 75 employees involving screening, interviewing and hiring, conformance to state law, ethics, and civil service rules and regulations.
DESCRIBE A MOMENT THAT CHANGED YOUR LIFE: Personally – the birth of my only son who is now a teenager attending Americas High School and the joy of my life.
Professionally – becoming a public servant and being able to help people everyday from the smallest feat to the most major complicated property tax question.
