ABC-7 Xtra Tonight To Focus On UTEP’s Search For A New Basketball Coach
Tony Barbee’s departure just days after UTEP was booted from the NCAA Tournament in the first round has left the university with the task of finding a new head coach to follow in the footsteps of successful Miner coaches.
ABC-7 Xtra tonight will look at the coaching search, who the candidates are and who’s got the edge for the job. Former Miner great and retired NBA player Greg Foster and KROD-AM Sports Talk host Steve Kaplowitz will break down the UTEP search with host Darren Hunt.
