Drunk Man Tasered At Wet N Wild After Challenging Authorities To Fight, Sheriff Says

A 28-year-old man was tasered at Wet N Wild Water Park Sunday night after he allegedly became hostile and challenged authorities to a fight.

Natan Acosta-Garcia, of Mesquite, New Mexico, matched the description of a man who broke car windshields in the Wet N Wild parking lot and was confronted by El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies.

Acosta-Garcia was intoxicated and became uncooperative and hostile, challenging authorities to a physical confrontation, according to sheriff’s officials. At that point, a sheriff’s deputy deployed his taser gun and tasered Acosta-Garcia who continued to resist despite being stun. Deputies were finally able to subdue and control Acosta-Garcia.

He was arrested and booked on charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest.
