Teen Allegedly Bites Store Employee After Stealing Merchandise
A 17-year-old woman allegedly stole clothing and then bit a store employee before she was arrested and charged with robbery.
At about 12:10 p.m. on Monday, Jazmine Buchanan, of the 5700 block of Squires, was observed taking a pair of YMI jeans, Guess jeans and a Guess top from the Dillards at 8401 Gateway North, according to El Paso Police.
Buchanan was approached by a store employee and allegedly bit the employee before she was detained until police arrived.
She was booked into the El Paso County Jail for robbery on a bond of $5,000. The store employee did receive medical attention for the cut to the finger as a result of the bite.
