Police, Crime Stoppers Looking For Bank Robber

Police need your help in finding a man who robbed a bank on May 21st.

According to authorities, the man walked into the El Paso Employees Credit Union at 9305 North Loop around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 21st.

The man, who was wearing a surgical mask over his face, had a black semiautomatic handgun. He approached a teller and demanded money, handing over a grocery bag to put the money in.

The teller complied and handed over an undetermined amount of money. Authorities say the suspect spoke only Spanish and fled on foot; he was last seen running east on North Loop.

The alleged bank robber is described as a Hispanic male in his early 30s, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a blue baseball cap with the U.S. flag on the front, clear safety-style glasses, a white surgical mask, and a gray hooded sweatshirt turned inside-out.

In addition, the suspect was wearing tan-colored gloves, blue jeans, and dark tennis shoes with white lines.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward if the tip leads to an arrest.
