3 Arrested For DWI Over Weekend

The El Paso Police Department in cooperation with the Office of District Attorney Jaime Esparza implemented a blood draw operation from July 3 to 4 a.m. July 4. The blood draw procedure is used after the individual(s) refuses to give a specimen of their breath when taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

Four people were arrested for DWI and all four provided a breath specimen. No blood draw warrants were issued.

Three people were booked into the El Paso County Jail for the offense of DWI. The other person who submitted to a breath test blew under the limit and was released.
