3 Arrested In Horizon City On Drug Charges
A joint investigation conducted by the Horizon Police Department & the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team culminated in the arrest of three people for narcotics-related offenses.
On June 29, during an investigation by Horizon Police and sheriff’s deputies, contact was made with a male subject who agreed to deliver narcotics to undercover officers posing as narcotics buyers. Deputies later met with a male subject who delivered a total of 1.5 grams of cocaine.
Deputies who remained on surveillance at a residence in the 14300 block of Thayer Pease in Horizon City observed two males approach the residence and remove a package from the side of the home. Both male subjects left the residence in a vehicle where deputies followed the to a residence in the 700 block of Palmer. Deputies along with Horizon Police officers made contact with the male where an additional 4 grams of cocaine was found inside the vehicle.
Those arrested were: 20-year-old Jimmy Codina, charged with Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance (Cocaine) – $2,500 bond.
19-year-old Gabriel Roman, Possession of Controlled Substance (Cocaine) over 1 gram – under 4 grams – $1,200 bond.
19-year-old Daniel Rodriguez, Possession of Controlled Substance (Cocaine) 1 gram – under 4 grams – $1,500 bond.
