LC Police: Man Threw Two-Year-Old Down Hallway

Las Cruces Police say a 25-year-old man threw a two-year-old down a hallway.

Jason Nevarez was taken into custody Friday for felony child abuse. According to police, he was watching the two-year-old boy Thursday while his girlfriend was at work.

Nevarez allegedly became upset with the toddler when he would not cooperate in getting dressed. The boy suffered a fractured skull.

As of Saturday morning the boy was in stable condition at University Medical Center in El Paso.
