Man Taken To Hospital After Being Stabbed By His Brother

A fight between brothers in Canutillo ended with one stabbing the other, according to El Paso County Sheriff’s officials.

The stabbing happened at a home on Park and Central shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday evening.

Investigators 42-year-old Javier Orrantia confronted his 44-year-old brother Jaime, then stabbed him in the arms and behind the ear with a seven-inch butcher’s knife.

Authorities arrested and booked Javier into the El Paso County Jail, while Jaime was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
