2 Juveniles Arrested In Playground Fire

Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with a playground fire at school in the Lower Valley on Wednesday afternoon.

Eight fire units with 28 firefighters responded to the fire at Ramona Elementary. The fire was extinguished in 10 minutes. Total damage to playground was estimated to be at $120,000.00. Upon investigation it was determined that two juvenile males, one 13 and the other 14 had started the fire.

The juveniles were arrested and charged with arson, they were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center for processing.
