Center Against Family Violence Gets $2,000 From Kim Kardashian’s El Paso Visit

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s visit to El Paso last week resulted in $2,000 for the Center Against Family Violence.

While the promoter of the El Paso event would not discuss specifics of Kardashian’s contract, Kardashian has been paid tens of thousands of dollars for similar appearances elsewhere.

Kardashian appeared at a business launch party and fashion show at Wet Ultra Lounge on Friday night where a portion of the proceeds were given to CAMV. About 1,400 people attended the event.

Xtreme Entertainment Owner Rosie Galvan, the promoter of the appearance, gave the $2,000 check to CAFV’s Cesar Campa on Wednesday.

“The Center Against Family Violence is very appreciative to Xtreme Enterantinment for their $2,000 donation and the attention they brought to the issue of domestic violence and the services provided by the Center Against Family Violence,” CAFV Director Cesar Campa said. in a statement.

Some people who attended the Kardashian event expressed disappointment with her appearance because it did not require her to give a speech at the event and it was hard to get a glimpse of her.

Fans paid $40 at the door for general admission tickets and others paid $100 to sit in a VIP area catered by Tara Thai.

Galvan would not discuss the specifics of Kardashian’s contract but did tell ABC-7 the reality star fulfilled her contractual duties.

In a statement to ABC-7 on Monday, Galvan said, “We promised a launch party hosted by Kim Kardashian with a fashion show included as entertainment prior to her arrival. Per contract Kim Kardashian fullfilled her obligations.” Read the full statement here.

ABC-7 dug up a report in April about a similar contract for a Kim Kardashian club appearance in Sacramento.

In the contract, Kardashian gets paid tens of thousands of dollars for 90 minutes of “face time.” She also got a hotel suite and the use of a late model SUV to get around in. She would receive all of that just for showing up, according to that contract.
