Police Need Help Identifying City’s Latest Homicide Victim
Investigators from the El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Person unit need help in identifying the victim in the second homicide of 2010.
The dead man is black, about 5-foot-7, thin to medium build, and between 45 and 55 years old. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans and dark colored slippers. He had a tattoo of “LINDA” on his right forearm.

On Aug. 3, El Paso Police officers discovered the body of a man inside an apartment in the 400 block of S. Tays. Police said Lorenzo Carreon had become enraged in a verbal altercation with the man inside the apartment and then Carreon allegedly struck the man with a bat, causing the man’s death.
Carreon has been charged with murder and was booked into the El Paso County Jail on bonds totalling $75,000.
