Man Faces 4th DWI Charge After Previous DWI Convictions

El Paso Police charged a man with Driving While Intoxicated Friday morning after three previous DWI convictions.

Raul Romo, 23, of the 5600 block of Manilla, was driving a 2000 Cadillac Deville north on Dyer at Maxwell at 1:11 a.m. Friday with his headlights off and was stopped at the intersection of Diana and Dyer.

Romo was placed under arrest for DWI and during the investigation it was learned he had previously been convicted of DWI in May of 2010, September 2009, and June of 2007.

Romo was booked on the charge of Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More and Evading Arrest or Detention. His bond was set at $4,000.
