Manhunt Monday 08/09/10: Julius Rosales
This week’s “Manhunt Monday” most wanted person is an individual wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a relative.
At 2:54 a.m. March 18, 2010, El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to a residence Canutillo in reference to a sexual assault. Deputies arrived to discover that a Julius Ceasar Rosales, 18, allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old female relative while she slept.
Rosales admitted his crime to detectives and was arrested that night and charged with aggravated sexual assault under a $40,000 bond. Rosales was incarcerated until April when he was granted a personal recognizance bond and was released from jail.
Rosales has since failed to show for court and the 384th district court has recently issued an arrest warrant for Rosales’ apprehension for the offense of aggravated sexual assault under a $100,000 bond.
According to Rosales’ birth certificate, Rosales was born in Will County, Ill. And has ties to relatives in Joliet, Ill., Hammond, Ind., and El Paso County, Texas. Rosales may have fled the area but is known to frequent the Borderland, sheriff’s officials said.
