Crash Shuts Down Interstate 10 Early Saturday

A crash shut down westbound Interstate 10 at 3 a.m. Saturday near Hawkins following a car crash.

ABC-7 caught the aftermath on the TxDOT traffic cameras as a tow truck appeared to haul away two vehicles, one of them a seriously damaged sport utility vehicle.

Emergency dispatchers said one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The interstate was reopened around 5:15 a.m. Saturday.
