Manhunt Monday 11/08/10: Omar Hinojosa
This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for a recent burglary in Horizon City, TX. The target is identified as OMAR HINOJOSA (23) of Juarez, Mexico.
On October 9, 2010 at 11:15 PM, Horizon City Police Officers were dispatched to a home in the 15000 block of Mineral in Horizon City, Texas reference a Burglary of Habitation. Several items were taken from the home such as: a 42″ plasma T.V, Nintendo Wii, (2) Gold chains, men’s watch, woman?s purse, 2 United States Passports, 7 ring bracelet, & a coin bracelet, – Totaling over $4,900 dollars in loss. Officers investigating the case determined the home was burglarized the day before (October 8th) between 12:00 PM & 11:00 PM. Charges were filed a short time later.
On October 19, 2010, Investigators learned the suspect responsible for the burglary was in fact OMAR HINOJOSA as he pawned the 42″ plasma T.V. Horizon PD along with Sheriff?s Office Deputies are hot on the trail of HINOJOSA nearly capturing him last week as authorities closed in on him. A DPS Helicopter assisted officers on the ground as they searched the east El Paso County desert area where he managed to flee.
HINOJOSA remains on the run eluding capture. He drives a Blue Saturn passenger car & remains hiding in the Borderland – known to hang out in the Horizon City, TX area.

Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
