MAN ARRESTED AFTER HE VIDEOTAPES WOMAN IN HER BATHROOM

El Paso Police have arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly videotaping a woman in her restroom.
Robert Castillo, of the 1100 block of Marlo, allegedly placed a video camera in the restroom window of a 45-year-old woman as she was undressing.
In October, the victim began receiving electronic messages from an unknown source requesting provocative photo’s be sent to the person or images of her would be released to the public. Police said a sample image was sent to the victim and it depicted her partially nude and in her bathroom.
El Paso Police investigators said they were able to identify Castillo as a suspect in this case and executed a search warrant at Castillo’s home and located evidence connecting him to this crime.
Castillo was arrested and has been booked in to the El Paso County Detention Facility on one charge of Improper Photography or Visual Recording (Felony). His bond totaled $5000.
