Manhunt Monday 11/22/10: Jesus Martinez

This week?s Most Wanted Fugitive is making his 2nd appearance on MANHUNT MONDAY (06-21-10) – an individual wanted in connection with a Horizon City burglary ring. The target is identified as JESUS MARTINEZ (18) of El Paso, TX.

JUNE 2010: After several weeks of investigations, the El Paso County Sheriff?s Office concluded operation ?Dime Drop?. The operation was in direct response to an ongoing rash of Burglaries in the Horizon area during the early summer months. Deputies identified a ring of 5 subjects active in an organized Theft & Burglary ring operation in the Horizon/Sparks area. In total, Four others were arrested in connection with the string of burglaries (see here?)

MARTINEZ remains the lone Burglar on the run eluding capture. Strike Team Deputies received word MARTINEZ is once again frequenting the Horizon / Sparks area. The Strike Team is hot on the trail of MARTINEZ missing him last week by mere minutes. He is believed to be hiding in the Borderland with friends & relatives. He is known to have contacts in El Paso, Fabens, Horizon City, TX and other areas in El Paso County, TX. Sheriff?s Office Officials are asking the public – if anyone has seen or has any information on the whereabouts of JESUS MARTINEZ to please contact the Sheriff?s Office (915) 546-2280 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477). Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
