Deputy Constable Arrested For Allegedly Selling Steroids Has Been Fired

A voluntary reserve deputy constable arrested for selling steroids has been fired.

Angie Sommers, Constable for Precinct 7, told ABC-7 that Horacio Garcia was was immediately fired when she became aware of the arrest.

At about 4:10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, after several months of investigations, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office executed an arrest warrant for 38-year-old Garcia for two counts of Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 (Steroids).

Garcia was arrested at his residence and was later booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under bonds totaling $55,000.
