TV Falls On 2-Year-Old, Killing The Toddler

A 2-year-old girl was killed in El Paso’s Lower Valley Thursday night when a television fell on top of her.

It happened late Thursday night on the the 8900 block of Gemotes.

Initial reports from emergency personnel are that the 2-year-old girl was climbing on some furniture when a large TV fell on top of her. The impact killed the little girl. Investigators said there were no signs of foul play and the incident was an accident. The toddler was home with parents at the time the accident occurred.
